Nobody is talking to us, but there is a “good” teacher, called internet.

It’s true the Internet is easily accessible and has a wealth of information. Unfortunately it also has a lot of misinformation. And it is no teacher, certainly not a good one. A good teacher will separate fact from fiction and from opinion. A good teacher organizes and paces the information for the students. A good teacher understands that some students are ready for certain information while others are not. Yes a teen can certainly learn a lot on their own online, but there is no guide or direction or protection. I am sorry to hear that no one is talking to you. But there must be some safe and appropriate adult you can ask. And there are also books that are age appropriate and more quality controlled for being factual and appropriate.
