Research has previously shown that kids with ADHD are more likely to sustain injuries that require a trip to the ER, likely due to impulsivity and poor concentration. However, new research out of the Centre for Safe Medication Practice and Research department of pharmacology and pharmacy in Hong Kong has found that Kids with ADHD are less likely to have such injuries if they are taking methylphenidate (Ritalin):
